First Album Ready for Mixing & Mastering, Merch Video Available
Jan 12, 2012
Well, it's been quite a few days since our last update, so we'll try to fill you in on all the latest news. First, the band has completed almost all of the raw recording for the album over the past month; we just have a few more guitar and vocal overdubs to add to certain songs. Now that most of the recording is done, Ian has left the band's studio in Memphis and travelled to Nashville to start the long, tedious process of mixing and mastering all the tracks. This will be the band's main project over the next month or so. We'll do our best to keep you guys updated on the progress.
Second, we finished most of the filming for the interview video too. But we're trying to get as much good footage as possible, and then we have to edit everything, so you can expect the video to be released in about 2 or 3 weeks. When it's done, it'll be a great way to learn about the new album and all the work we've put into it.
Speaking of videos, we took a break from recording and put together a short, simple video about the merch store. It just got released on the media page and our YouTube channel. Since the online store is still relatively new, the video showcases some of our merchandise for anyone who hasn't had a chance to use the store yet.
