The Story Behind the Name "No Morals" Explained
Mar 15, 2012
Some people are surprised when they hear the title, "No Morals". So where does the name come from? Here's a preview of what's in the album booklet (available in both the digital & physical copies):
"This album documents the story of Tyler Hopgood's life. It is raw, sincere, intimate, and uncensored. After Tyler's idealistic upper-middle class lifestyle was shattered, he replaced it with the stereotypical lifestyle of rock n' roll: women, drugs, rebellion, and, of course, plenty of music.
But that kind of life comes with consequences. Tyler has faced addiction, crime, heartbreak, and uncertainty. He has survived the mental and physical struggles of rehab. He has experienced multiple confrontations with the law because of his excessive drug use. He has slept on the streets in the pouring rain, almost completely homeless. He has gone days without eating a normal meal: his only nutrition coming from whiskey and pills. And during the very lowest points of his life, death was a scary reality..."
If you wanna know how the story ends, get your hands on a copy of No Morals ;) (official release date TBA soon)
